As promised, I’ll be sharing a week’s worth of Ramadan meal ideas to help you stay in low carb during Ramadan, Insha Allah. You can adjust and swap out items from the list to fit your needs and caloric requirements. I’ve also linked the recipes for some of the items so that it’ll be easier to find. Some of the recipes are not mine, and credit is due to their creative authors.
In making this menu, I kept these points in mind:
- Suhoor needs to be filling so that we can avoid hunger pangs during the day.
- No diuretic drinks before the fast, to avoid dehydration.
- Iftar should be light so that it will be easier to pray Taraweeh.
- Bulletproof Coffee before Taraweeh, for energy and satiety without the full stomach.
- Regular low carb dinner.
- Keto-friendly snacks in moderation.
